Other Stuff:

Other Talents: I play the bass guitar and drums a little bit.  I also write
some songs.
Person who inspired you most: I can't say that it was just one person
specifically that inspired me really.  Had it not been for my family and
church family pushing me to sing even though it must have hurt their ears
at times, I wouldn't be standing and singing today.  They put up with the
harsh sounds and inspired me to keep going and I thank all of them for
that!
Person you would like to be like and why: I'd like to be more like
Jesus.  After all, as a Christian, we're to be Christ-like.  I want to follow His
examples and walk after His ways.
Dislikes about the road: Late nights getting home and McDonalds!
What makes the road worthwhile?: Seeing souls saved and lives
changed.  It makes it all worthwhile when someone comes up and receives
Christ or says that they received a blessing from your ministry.
Other groups you've sang with: LifeLine Trio, New Gathering Quartet,
The Gibbs Family
Something Interesting you want people to know about you: I've
been singing in church since I was 7.  I used to have my family sit in the
living room and make them listen to me have a "concert" on my karaoke
machine.
Embarrassing moment on the road: We were at a church and we had
sang and the preacher was preaching.  I was extremely tired because I
had been in a wedding that weekend and then we left as soon as I got
back from the wedding to go to Georgia to sing Sunday morning.  This was
the Sunday night service and I was beat.  I honestly was in and out of
consciousness just about. I don't know how I was even sitting up.  The
pastor had asked how many women wore a wedding band.  Some women
raised their hands.  He went on to say that he didn't believe in wearing
wedding rings, but basically whatever floats your boat.  He went on
preaching and asked another question.  I thought he asked how many of
you women have jewelry since he had already commented about the
wedding rings so I raised my hand.  Come to find out, he had asked how
many of you women have children?  Appar
ently, somewhere, I have
children and didn't know it!
